There is a button that says “New Posts”, and it wasn’t immediately clear to me that threads are bumped to the top of that list when someone replies. My initial expectation was that “new posts” was just showing newly created top level posts.

Perhaps I had some cognitive dissonance that the new post list shows the older timestamp of the original posts, but the timestamp doesn’t reflect the newer reply that bumped it to the top of the thread.
